“Sarah is a wonder.”
Sarah is a wonder who understands dogs in ways that are transformative for their owners. Before our puppy Percy came home to live with us, he spent a week doing imprint training with Sarah. Not only did she help him become comfortable and happy being alone in his crate and sleep through the night, but she also helped him learn how to express his joyful enthusiasm without jumping, to sit politely to ask for things, and that human beings like kisses instead of nips, and the meaning of various words like, sit, come, to your mat, and many more. She exposed him to myriad sights, sounds, and experiences that ensured he is calm and happy in all sorts of situations-- he loves meeting new people, and new animals, exploring new places, and taking a bath! Above all, Sarah was able to teach us about Percy's personality in ways that allow us to understand how to motivate, comfort, and teach Percy so that he is a happy, healthy, and enjoyable member of our family. Her devotion to and connection with the animals she lives and works with is nothing less than magical. Percy had a heavenly week with her, and we continue to reap the benefits of Sarah's insights and wise counsel.
